Can’t Wait – 64% Of Birmingham Fans Polled Hoping For First Team Return For 24 Year Old

Both Omar Bogle and Lukas Jutikiewicz played well against Swansea, but both missed chances to secure the three points on Friday night.

The good thing is we do have additional options up front if Garry Monk does want to change things up in future matches.

The game against Bolton on Wednesday will come too soon for Isaac Vassell, but it looks as though he will be available for selection after the international break. When I polled fans about whether the 24-year-old should start on his return, almost two-thirds said that he should:

We may have to be patient with the striker. He is recovering from a serious knee injury, and he will need time on the training pitch, as well as minutes for the Under 23s to get his match sharpness back.

Still, after seeing the energy that Bogle showed against the Swans, the prospect of him and Vassell being partnered up top does look exciting. If Isaac can come in and provide an additional clinical edge then we should have a far greater threat in the final third.
