Birmingham City have today announced that they have parted company with manager Gary Rowett and all of his backroom staff.
The sickening news broke earlier on Wednesday afternoon that Blues had decided to terminate Rowett’s contract with immediate effect, along with four of his backroom staff.
Following Blues’ 2-1 win over Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening, Mark Sale was put up in front of the press allowing Rowett to have a ‘break’ according to the club.
The club have said that this is a strategic move that will work out better for the club in the long run, but we are pretty sure that is not how most Blues fans will see it.
Blues have ensured that the club are looking for an immediate replacement with the January transfer window fast approaching.
