Jacques Maghoma managed to finish calmly to seal a crucial win for us on Saturday. Our no.19 blasted the ball home past Jamal Blackman in the Sheffield United goal after latching on to a Che Adams pass.
The victory proved all the more important considering both Barnsley and Bolton lost at the weekend, and the Congolese international showed his delight with the three points after the game:
Just amazing… our fans are the best… place was rocking. Never felt so much positivity around the place. Great comeback. Not done yet but definitely closer. #kro #19 #BCFC

Well done, Mags. Great take for the goal, but not just your goal I thought your performance over the 96 minutes was class. Keep up with those driving runs and the desire you're displaying. Top performance! #KRO #BCFC

Verdict:
As Garry Monk said after the game, we have been missing a lot of chances in recent games, but the 30-year-old was clinical when we needed it most.
The win takes us five points clear of the relegation zone but the Tykes do still have that game in hand against Notts Forest which is played tomorrow night.
We are certainly not out of the woods yet, but the victory against the Blades should give the team a huge confidence boost.
