Clark Still Pleased With Youngsters

Birmingham boss Lee Clark was once again pleased with the display from his youngsters after they picked up a point at home to Millwall on Saturday.

His young side have buckled down and worked their way away from the drop zone over the last few games, so much so that they had been tipped to reach the play-offs, but Clark was having none of that.

In this game, City took the lead early in the second half trough Wes Thomas, but Chris Taylor had the two sides level once again just 20 minutes later

Clark said to reporters: ‘They are doing really great and we are proud of them but we have got to be more ruthless and more professional. At times you could see we were young and naive. Their power and physicality brushed us aside at times.’
