Birmingham manager Lee Clark missed out on the December Championship Manager of the Month award, Derby County manager Steve McClaren picked up the gong.
McClaren steered his Derby side to an unbeaten run through December, winning six out of seven of their league games as they made tracks up the table.
Along with McClaren and Clark, the other two nominees were Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies and Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy.
