‘Birmingham City’s Charlee Adams has joined Lincoln City on a youth loan until the new year,’ the official Birmingham City site said.
The young midfielder, who can play in any attacking position, has been vital in the U21’s this year but is set to join the Vanarama Conference outfit until 1 January.
Last year, he was at the same club on loan, clocking up 14 appearances. He knows the club well, and is looking to gain confidence by getting match time.
‘The youth loan deal gives Blues the option to recall the player after 28 days if needed,’ the official site adds.
This will give Charlee the opportunity to impress for Lincoln immediately and will test whether he will cope under pressure. It also enables the Blues to recall him if injuries hit.
He has only made one first team appearances though, so can’t see him being recalled due to injuries in the first team squad.
