‘Blues will play Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday 16 December in the third round of this season’s FA Youth Cup,’ states the official club website.
They go on to confirm, ‘The tie will be played at Solihull Moors FC, Autotech Stadium, Damson Parkway and kick-off at 7pm.’
A short trip for the Blues who will be delighted at the stadium choice for this years cup tie. Last year, the youngsters passed this round, only to be edged out by Everton at Goodison Park.
Having played at a Premier League stadium, the boys will be hoping to emulate this form, in order to go back to a similar ground.
‘Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.’
A decent price so a big crowd is being predicted, compared to the usual numbers for the Blues’ U21 games.
* Please note that in the event Solihull Moors FC are involved in a FA Trophy replay on Tuesday 16 December, this game will automatically switch to Thursday 18 December, kick off 7pm.
