Bournemouth midfielder to join Diego Fabbrini at Blues?

Bookmakers Bet Victor are reporting that AFC Bournemouth midfielder Lee Tomlin could be about to join Diego Fabbrini at Birmingham City.

The Fabbrini move is set to go through this afternoon (27th) and Bet Victor have slashed the odds of Tomlin joining the B9 side before the window shuts on Monday.

Early last week we tweeted out that there could be the possibility of Tomlin joining Blues but now that Fabbrini looks set to join the club we can’t see this move happening.

The odds on the move went from 33/1 down to 10/1 over night but even in normal terms that is still classed as a long shot and it is something that we wouldn’t pay attention to.

With Blues looking more and more likely that they have got their man in the attacking third, adding another one in the shape of Tomlin would be a silly move with the club having just let Andrew Shinnie join Rotherham United on loan for the remainder of the season.
