Birmingham City travel to Barnsley tonight looking for their third win on the bounce, but they must try to do it without the services of striker Marcus Bent.

Bent was ruled out for up to a month after he was taken off the pitch after just 18 minutes on Saturday with a suspected hamstring tear, it is looking like he could be out of the side for a month.

Towards the end of the game on Saturday, Cameron Jerome suffered with cramp but should be given the go ahead for the trip to Oakwell, Carlos Costly is the one likely to lead the attack with him.

Kevin Phillips is close to a return but is unlikely to feature in this game although Garry O`Connor could find himself on the bench as he makes his recovery from a groin operation.

Full-back David Murphy is rated doubtful with a thigh injury.

Defenders Liam Ridgewell (thigh), Djimi Traore (hamstring) and Stuart Parnaby (thigh), midfielder Kemy Agustien (groin) and forward James McFadden (knee) all remain on the sidelines.
