Championship trio Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolverhampton Wanderers have all been handed a boost by Bolton Wanderers striker Zach Clough.

The 20 year old failed to agree personal terms with Bristol City and it now appears as though the deal has gone completely dead in the water.

This news comes as a huge enhancement to the previously mentioned trio who are all reportedly still battling it out for the young striker.

However, news is emerging that league leaders Middlesbrough are also suggested to be interested in him and it is likely that all three teams would be able to out offer Blues when it comes to proposing a deal.

Despite this, at the likes of the Owls and Boro, it isn’t guaranted that he will get a game so a move to the Midlands could still happen, but it could be to either Blues or Wolves.
