Bruno N’Gotty says that Blues can bounce back to the Premiership with a good campaign this season.

He told the Mail ‘I like this team. I think we have a good chance to get back to the Premier League quickly. We have talented players, young players, experienced players.’

Bruce has brought down the average age of the players to 23, so 35 year old N’Gotty is by far the most senior player.

He added, ‘And if you are motivated to get promotion, if you want it badly, you can finish top. There is a big desire here and I am happy to be part of the team.’

The former Bolton Wanderers player says that he is around 70% fit and has plenty of time before the season starts to get fully match fit.

‘My experience will be useful for the young players. I know I will need to talk so much to help them, to keep them at a high standard. It is something I am enjoying already. As a back four, we have to stay tight and try not to concede goals. That is our job and I will do my best to make sure that is what happens this season.’

Finishing, after admitting he had never played out of the top divisions in France, England or Italy ‘It’s a good challenge. I am with a new team, in a good city, I am excited about it.’
