Blues will begin the 2016/17 season at home to Cardiff City before two away trips to Leeds United and Wigan Athletic. Wolves be the visitors to St. Andrew`s for the second home fixture of the campaign.

Blues` first local derby against Aston Villa will take place at St. Andrew`s on the weekend of 29 October with the return clash at Villa Park scheduled for the weekend of 22 April. Both fixtures are likely to be moved to a Sunday lunch time due to police advice and Sky Sports broadcasting.

Other notable dates are Blues` trip to Tyneside to face Newcastle on 10 December and the Boxing Day trip to Derby County.

The season will end at Ashton Gate as Blues travel to Bristol City on 7 May.
