Birmingham City have reportedly joined the race to sign Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli, according to Tuttosport.

The 30 year old keeper was a main stay in the Torino goal at the start of the season but in recent weeks he has found his chances limited and it is now believed that he is seeking a move away from the club.

Previously, the former Liverpool man had been linked with a move to Midlands rivals Aston Villa, but after turning them down, it is now believed that Blues and Premier League side AFC Bournemouth are interested in his services.

His most likely destination would be with the Cherries and Blues currently have Tomasz Kuszczak as their first choice keeper and Adam Legzdins as a back up and signing another shot stopper isn’t believed to be a priority of Gary Rowett.
