BIHL Under Investigation

Respected website Often Partisan has revealed that Birmingham City’s parent company may be under investigation by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Any investigation could delay the sale of the club even further.

Birmingham International Holdings Limited own the majority of the club and were said to be in negotiations to sell the club. It would now seem that any sale is even further off than we thought.

Accounts from the company are being looked at from the year 2011 and as we know from before, this company are not always on time or up to scratch on their book keeping.

The main point of this saga for the fans is when the club will be sold. As BIHL have said previously they intend to offload the club. Well OP has said it may not even happen this season.

Birmingham have started the season well with fighting home performances and 4 points from their first three games. Despite more off the field rumours the disruption no longer seems to be reaching the UK.

Lee Clark will prepare his team for Saturday’s trip to Brentford, hoping to achieve more than the opening day duck at Middlesbrough.
