Koby Arthur has been recalled from his loan spell at Cheltenham Town.

The official Birmingham City website have today reported that, ‘Clark has now taken the decision to bring him back to Blues ahead of Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship fixture at home to Sheffield Wednesday.’

Arthur has certainly made an impression on the Robins during his loan spell, scoring four goals in eight games.

Despite only making one league start in that time, it still seems like a strange decision by Lee Clark to recall Arthur. He is a winger, who can score goals. But I’d definitely say Gray is a class above, as are Cotterill and Duffy.

But that doesn’t give much depth to the squad so maybe Arthur has been recalled to sit on the bench? Not a good decision for a players development, if that is the case.
