Well that felt like forever didn’t it?
Seeing as the club didn’t have a League Cup game during midweek, that hopefully means they should all be nicely rested and raring to go tomorrow as they take on Nottingham Forest.
At least they should be if Pep Clotet’s press conference is anything to go by. Speaking to the media ahead of the game he said:
“We have been working really hard this week, we have had a free week in terms of no games so we have been focusing only on Nottingham Forest and making sure we improve on last week and get the right preparation in for Saturday.”
Although, as has started to become a bit of a tradition with Clotet’s press conferences, and other announcements by the club, fans aren’t always focused on what the message of the tweet is. They seem to be more concerned with how the boss is looking.
If he looks like this after a few months in the job, imagine what he’ll look like when he has to deal with the hectic Christmas schedule.

Theres a sense of positivity. My concern in these opening 2 games has been the lack of created chances, I'm sure this is all down to learning the system. However if our chances are limited at this moment we need to he more clinical
