Matthew Upson has said his future is unclear, because if he doesn’t play who would want him anyway.
Speaking to the press, the 27 year old defender said:
‘I don’t know what’s going to happen. People say ‘maybe he’s going to be sold’ but if I don’t play any matches who is going to take me?
‘I have got no idea. All I care about is playing football again. The moment I do that, things may happen.
‘Until then, until I get back on the pitch and play four or five games and get back to where I know I can be – and potentially better than I’ve ever been – who knows what my future is.
‘My priority is to get back playing, that’s my only concern. I’d love to play a part and help the club get promotion. I feel the Premiership is where the club belongs.’
