Former Birmingham City trialist Simeon Slavchev has joined Polish club Lechia Gdańsk on loan for the 2017/18 season.
The 23-year-old was on trial with Harry Redknapp’s side in pre-season – despite still being contracted to Sporting Lisbon – but the club decided against pursuing a move for him.
He now returns to the club that he spent time at on loan last season, where he made 23 appearances.
