Luke Turner thinks Blues fans need to turn out in their numbers…

The away support of Birmingham City has been excellent this season and we are on track for four successive sell outs on the road.

Home attendances have also increased since Gary Rowett has transformed our fortunes and it is now time for even more fans to walk through the turnstiles.

The club offer a fair pricing structure and with games like Sheffield Wednesday coming up, I don’t think there is any excuse for Blues fans not to come and support the team.

Even for the Hull game which got changed to a Thursday night in March due to being televised on Sky Sports, fans should still physically be at the game.

An adult ticket anywhere in the stadium is just a tenner and for the Bolton game you even get free food and drink.

It would be great if we could go past the 20,000 barrier for home matches from now until the end of the season.

Rowett has built an exciting team who have a massive chance of reaching the play offs and returning to the Premier League.

I’m sure if we reached the play off final, some supporters will be jumping at the chance to get a ticket but probably hadn’t attended a home game all season.

It is time now for Blues fans to act and get themselves down to St Andrews. Fans are supposed to support their team through thick and thin and right now Rowett has something special going on.

Why wouldn’t you want to be part of it?
