There’s a saying in American football, and it’s ‘Winning Cures Everything’ (7:45 on the clip).
It’s a way of being able to put all the negativity and talk that has surrounded you in the last couple of days to one side, and just leave you focusing on the victory.
That’s pretty much what this victory feels like to me. After the week that the Blues have gone through when it comes to off the pitch matters, to be able to put it all to one side for a couple of hours and just celebrate the fact that the Blues put three points on the board, it just makes things feel ever so slightly better.
Well, that’s how I feel anyway, but that feeling hasn’t exactly made its way around the Birmingham City fan base. Indeed they weren’t exactly too thrilled when the result came through, with many of them left unconvinced by a victory over a team that are at the bottom of the table.
Great result. Let’s hope we can kick on from here. I’d love pep and some of the players who haven’t been up to scratch so far to prove me wrong! #kro

Don’t start gassing us scraping past bottom of the league

Pep still needs to go, so unconvincing its unbelievable

Still a poor overall performance. Luton were there for the taking. If we had a better manager it’d could of been 4/5 goals for us today. Crowley should have come on for Bela earlier. He was knackered. And despite it working he kept two midfielders on the pitch with yellows

For a win, that sounded horrendous

Right lads, congrats on the win. Let’s not go on as if we’re just done a job on Barca.

Pep still needs to get out of this club, no excuse for those incredibly late substitutions when players were struggling. #PepOut

Let’s hope for another win next week, maybe that will cheer some of these people up.
