Gary Rowett was pleased that Birmingham were able to clinically put Forest to the sword yesterday despite having to defend for large periods of the game.
Birmingham bounced back well from the Derby defeat and Rowett admitted he had some concerns following a 4-0 defeat. The team handled it well, and almost left the City Ground with a clean sheet.
Right and left side of defence has particular praise from the manager after they had a busy afternoon down the flanks. Both did very well, though. Caddis in particular had a dominant display at right back.
There was also a hint that the team will be changed for next weekend’s trip to Blyth Spartans. Some players have earned their chance, said Rowett.
