Rogers ‘Possible’ Return

Roger Johnson, who was apart of Birmingham’s famous Carling Cup winning side, could be set to appear at St Andrews today. Although a warrior for Blues, the way he left and the downward sinking direction of the club since then has certainly left a bitter taste in the mouth of Blues fans alike.

The player, who suffered back to back relegations with neighbours Wolves has been exiled at his parent club resulting in a three month loan to today’s visitors. In a desperate attempt to force the player to find a new club on lower wages, Wolves prepared without Johnson, a decent tactic known to more than often work well (its what we did with King).

Johnson was not well received when he returned to St Andrews last time out and will more than likely be subjected to the same reaction again. I don’t really boo players, it’s not my thing, however I am tempted.

Wolves are keen to sell the player due to his ballooned wages and woeful performances. I don’t know what he was on, but he was on about £20/30,000 playing for us, I imagine that increased.

Johnson has blamed his poor form for Wolves on his fellow team-mates, claiming they were not good enough and he can’t be a one man team. ‘I’m not John Terry’ he said. A true gent takes responsibility for his mistakes RJ is obviously lacking in personal accountability. I saw a lot of his games for Wolves, his attitude was appalling.

Enjoy the game today, lets get behind our Boys in Blue!
