Darren Randolph was pleased with the battling point Blues managed to find at Molineux and undoubtedly the clean sheet for himself.

Randolph explained the new boss had told the players to do things with a purpose and to be confident out on the pitch.

Blues were given a solid base to work from, Rowett insisted the players keep the shape of the formation, Randolph said he felt the players took to their jobs today for the full 90 minutes.

The game was described as a ‘massive team effort’. The keeper was impressed that everyone was putting in tackles and blocks for the points. He said everything’s a dog fight down the bottom of the table.

He was also asked about the effect Gary Rowett had brought with him to the club. Randolph said the boss has lifted everyone’s spirits, allowed the players to use this time as a fresh start for either getting in the team or staying in it.

Blues now have two home games to hopefully but their bad form behind them and begin positive times under Gary Rowett.
