Not exactly the greatest of starts to a head coach’s career was it?
But at least he’s willing to accept he made a mistake (alright it’s not that big of a positive, but let’s face it, we’ve not got a lot of positivity to go around at the moment).
Blues fell to Stoke City yesterday, with the team still looking for our first win since the season restarted, and after the game caretaker head coach Steve Spooner opened up about the atmosphere in the dressing room after the game, whilst also admitting that the change in formation didn’t go as well as he’d hoped.
However, Blues fans weren’t willing to take these comments lying down. Having already torn into the players for their effort, or lack thereof during the game, they turned their anger up a notch and gave both Spooner and the players both barrels.
Tell him there are thousands of even angrier fans

“A few angry men” I can assure them their not as angry as us fans who are being subjected to this torture every game.

Shame there isn’t this fight and emotion shown on the pitch today. Enough talking more action needed on Wednesday

I truly believe we as supporters have carried these teams for the last 3 seasons , it’s so obvious that with out us and our passion these average players could not kick there way out of a paper bag.

Nobody looked angry on the pitch where it matters.

What about you? What do you make of Spooner’s comments after the game?
