Blues veteran striker Kevin Phillips is getting frustrated that he isn`t getting a lot of first team action these days at St Andrews especially that at 36, he still has an eye for goal.

Phillips was used as a sub again on Saturday, but scored what should have been an important equaliser for his side late on in the game only to see the defence throw his work down the drain by conceding to an even later Bolton goal.

And Phillips is rightly getting peed off with not seeing any first team action, he has only started one game so far this season yet he still has the knack of scoring in the Premier League.

‘I want to score goals and I’ve said how frustrated I am,’ said Phillips.

‘I’d like to play more minutes on the pitch, but that’s the manager’s decision.

‘All I can do when I come on is try my hardest and try to score goals and give the manager a bit of a problem and hopefully I’ve done that.’
