Blues fans must have thought they had seen the back of all the rumours about Demarai Gray leaving the club. However, unfortunately for us all, they have started to come out the woodwork once again.
Despite signing a new three year contract just last month, reports have emerged that Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion are set to make a move for Gray.
Personally, I don’t believe that these rumours are true because the Baggies would have to look at paying upwards of £10 or £12 million for his services now he has signed a new contract.
Tony Pulis has already signed two wingers after failing to secure the signings of both Bakary Sako and Michail Antonio and I just can’t see their pursuit having anything concrete about it at all.
I think that the link has come about because the Baggies have got off to a slow start in the Premier League this season and Pulis just wants to try and get fans hopes back up.
No there hasn’t been any official confirmation of the reports as of yet and I believe manager Gary Rowett could become quite angry at these reports because the rumour should have been put to bed when Gray signed a new contract.
