Vital Birmingham writer Rob Wildey was in attendance at Craven Cottage as Blues put five past a helpless Fulham side on Saturday.

I asked Rob to generate some player ratings for me based on how he believed the players performed during this fantastic away match.

Goals from Stephen Gleeson, Paul Caddis, Jon Toral, Clayton Donaldson and Viv Solomon-Otabor gave Blues their most convincing win of the season, in what was also perhaps their best performance as well.

Rob, who has been a part of our team for a long time now, highlighted the importance of Toral on the day and he has awarded him with the Man of the Match.

Having watched all of the highlights from the game, to me it looked like we were very opportunistic with our chances but we were also very clinical as well when we got into certain positions in and around the box.

Below are the ratings that Rob has given to the starting XI that played on Saturday, along with the two substitutes that were used also.

Kuszczak- 7

Caddis- 7

Spector- 7

Morrison- 8

Grounds- 7

Gleeson- 7

Davis- 8

Gray- 8

Toral- 9 (Man of the Match)

Maghoma- 7

Donaldson- 7

Subs-

Kieftenbeld- 7

Solomon-Otabor- 7

Just going on what I have seen from the highlights of the game it looked liek Jacques Maghoma was very effective when going forward. He created two goals and he carried the team forward at times.

Demarai Gray will be unhappy that he didn’t get on the scoresheet, but judging by the pictures that are floating around, he is very happy for his academy friend Solomon-Otabor.

The 19 year old scored his first senior goal for the Blues, in a similar style to the one Gray scored for his first goal against Blackburn Rover in a 4-2 loss at St.Andrews back in 2013.

Blues fans, do you agree with the ratings that Rob has dished out? Who was your MotM? Let us know in the comment section down below!
