O’Connor Joins Up With Barnsley On Loan

Birmingham striker Garry O’Connor dropped down a division to the npower Championship to sign a month loan spell with Barnsley.

O`Connor has recently signed a six month deal with Blues to prove his fitness but has only managed two appearances, a spell out at Barnsley will do him the power of good.

Confirming the news on their website, Barnsley described the swoop as ‘sensational’ and revealed an option to extend the loan beyond a month.
