Blues manager Lee Clark has reminded fans that there is absolutely nothing in the kitty to enable the club to bring in new players before the transfer deadline.
To enable to be able to bring players in would mean having to sell off members of the current squad first and that is just not possible so there is now way that they can raise funds.
It may be that a loan player could come in, but that would rely on the club offloading Marlon King and Peter Lovenkrands.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Clark said: ‘Unfortunately there’s nothing financial in terms of changing things.
‘We have got to get on with what we have got and work with the players and try and improve them, but we’ve got to try and find a solution quickly to win football matches, certainly not lose them.’
