Blues boss Alex McLeish didn`t mind admitting tht he was relieved after watching his side come back from a goal down to beat Derby in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Things were not looking too good for Birmingham after Jay McEverley had given the home side the lead.

But late on Blues pulled level through Scott Dann and then Kevin Phillips set up Liam Ridgewell with the goal that won the tie for the visitors.

‘We looked as if we were on our way out of the cup,’ admitted McLeish.

‘Derby troubled us before half-time and we didn’t really get going until we made some changes.

‘But once again the team demonstrated the fantastic determination they have produced time and time again this season.

‘What we have to do now is maintain our form. If you get cocky and complacent the roof can cave in but we have got a lot of leaders in that dressing room.’
