With Garry Monk discussing his plans for the summer transfer window, we can expect a lot of speculation over the next few months about comings and goings at St Andrews.

Finishing in 19th was not what we had in mind at the start of the campaign and there are likely to be a few changes as the manager reshapes the squad.

On Twitter, fans have been debating which players should leave the club:

Central midfield is probably where I would wield the axe. We have too many similar players in the middle of the park, and I would expect at least Jason Lowe and Cheikh N’Doye to leave. Craig Gardner also hasn’t offered much since he returned on a permanent basis.

We are quite light up front so I don’t expect Adams, Vassell or Jutkiewicz to leave. In the backline, Marc Roberts could be moved on if Monk wants to shake up the centre back positions, while Tomasz Kuszczak services could be deemed surplus to requirements with David Stockdale the established number one.

  • All these comments based on player performances under Steve Cotterill where every player was hopeless. Jota was excellent under Monk. Even Ndoye looked half decent. If you witnessed his motm performance versus Bolton you’d see what he was capable of. We need creativity in midfield and a striker capable of scoring 15+ goals a season. With a big player turnaround this summer let’s assess our squad properly before getting the wallet out and sending for taxis.
