Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with the comings and goings at this club.
I thought this was all meant to stop when the window closed, but I guess you can’t really keep it tucked away for too long.
Former Leicester City man Shinji Okazaki is now a free agent having been released from his contract at Spanish side Malaga, with The Sun reporting that the reason he had his contract terminated was that his wages were too high.
But that didn’t stop a number of fans from not just Birmingham, but of other clubs as well frantically tapping at their keyboards demanding that their clubs go out and sign him.
So when @WeAreBirmingham posed the question to Blues fans about whether or not they’d like him to make the move to B9, a lot of fans were quick to start thinking of the possibilities.
I’d love him playing off jukes headers and flick ons ????????

I would absolutely love to have him. Could you imagine Okazaki running off of juke?

Although it looks as if a few fans had their sensible hats on when discussing this. Some pointed out that the Blues aren’t able to sign him until the January window anyway, whilst others saw his wages as a big warning as to why not to sign him.
Wages would be a huge sticking point. That’s why he’s left Malaga

Wouldn’t his wages be way to much for us?

Also apparently they released him as they were unable to register him as his wage would have taken them over the wage cap. Which suggests he would want high wages, which might be out of our reach.

Yeah I think you’re right sadly
