So who’s up for a little debate?
With it being the international break, now is probably a good time to take a breather, a step back and assess exactly what’s gone on up to this point of the season.
We’ve already had one debate today, about who was the better right-back between Stephen Carr and Maxime Colin, now it’s time for another one, this one though is focused around this season rather than the past.
Noted Birmingham City writer @BrianDick posted the question on Twitter who has been the Blues’ best player this season as why. He was probably hoping for a little more of a debate, but the responses all seemed to be saying the same name. Lukas Jutkiewicz.
Quite comfortably Jutkiewicz, not sure anyone else comes close.

Jutkiewicz. The ever present consistency in a mishmash of fits and starts

Question should be, who else apart from Juke has been best player this season

Has to be Juke, he gets battered every week but just gets up for more. God help us if he gets injured.

Juke, by a country mile. Would be better to ask who has been second best…. mine would be Dean or Sunjic

And in fairness, you can’t really blame them. He’s got three goals already this season, all of them coming at home and causing havoc for opposition defenders by winning an average of 8.5 headers per game.
Question is though, will he be able to keep this up for the whole of the season? Or do you think there’s someone out there who can break through and challenge his early lead for the Player Of The Season award?
