David Gold will be more than welcome to visit St Andrews when his team West Ham United, come to town for the second leg of the Carling Cup semi final.

Last time Blues met West Ham a couple of weeks ago at St Andrews, Gold was told to keep away from the stadium for his own safety after he passed comments on Birmingham that were not looked upon favorably and in particular the comment he made about chairman Peter Pannu being ‘disgusting’.

However, Pannu is now ready to draw a line under the matter.

He said: ‘Birmingham City would like to take this opportunity to confirm David Gold is welcome at the stadium and the Blues board look forward to seeing him, and of course David Sullivan and all members of the West Ham board, at the game.’
