Jordan Ibe, a former Birmingham loanee, could well be about to move to one of the biggest clubs in the country – Manchester City.

The cash-rich club are set to make a move for the young winger after he has broken into the Liverpool team and looked like a seasoned pro no matter what position he was asked to play.

Ibe is fast, tricky and a very direct player – making him a prized asset for any team that wants a ball carrier that will take the team forward with every opportunity.

The young talent is yet to sign a new deal at Liverpool and now it is being reported other clubs, mainly City, are ready to take the England talent away from Merseyside.

Born in Shouthwark, Ibe is just 19 but is certainly beginning to embark on what could be a great career. He spent August – January with Derby last season, scoring 5 goals and making 20 appearances.

Before that spell, he was with Birmingham and was used sparingly by Lee Clark. Although the winger had a big say in the final day dramas that unfolded away at Bolton.

A good professional who I hope has a bright future. Here is of course a video of his contribution at Blues.
