Former Blues manager Lee Clark is reportedly set to return to the management stage with League One side Doncaster Rovers set to appoint him as their new manager.

A story which has been run by the Birmingham Mail claims that Donny are looking to appoint Clark as their new manager following the departure of Paul Dickov in September.

Rob Jones is currently in charge of the first team squad, but only on a temporary basis and it now looks like it will be a two horse race for the full time job.

The Daily Mail are reporting that former Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson could be in line to take over at the Keepmoat stadium, but these are unconfirmed reports.

Should Clark land the job, it will be his first since he left his role as Blackpool manager at the end of last season.

Rovers currently sit in the relegation zone of League One, but they are only in there on goal difference.

A club statement that was released upon Dickov getting the sack said: ‘The board are ambitious for a top six finish, and that is, and will remain, our aim.’

Blues fans, would you be happy to see Lee Clark back in a job after what he did at our club? Do you feel sorry for Doncaster Rovers fans? Let us know in the comment section down below!
