Birmingham City have confirmed that they are not considering Steve Cotterill for the vacant manager`s job, but they do have a list of around six that they are interested in.
The Cotterill reports on Monday were, as we thought and hoped, wide of the mark, but the fans favourite for the job is apparently on the Blues shortlist.
Gianfranco Zola, Roberto Di Matteo and Chris Hughton are all interesting Carson and co.
Whoever they decide to offer the job to, they need to do it fast as they need to get preparing for the assault on the Europa League, not to mention an immediate return to the Premier League after losing their status last term.
Pannu told the Press Association: ‘I am discussing the situation with Carson and we hope to install the new man as soon as possible. There are at least six (candidates) on the radar.’
