Birmingham drew 2-2 with Norwich on Saturday and here is what Clayton Donaldson felt about the game.

Clayton Donaldson was disappointed to come away from Carrow road with just a point after Blues lead by two goals in the first half. But he says that disappointment just goes to show how well Birmingham played.

The former Brentford man thought he had a stonewall penalty shout in the first half but didn’t criticize the referee on this occasion. Birmingham still got the goals and created plenty of chances in the first half.

The squad had the belief at half time to go on and win the game so it was a sucker punch to concede two goals so quickly in the opinion of Donaldson. Birmingham looked to be crumbling early on in the second half.

Donaldson commended the team for holding out under the pressure in the second half as Norwich pushed for a winner.

Birmingham would have taken a point before half time and on the balance of things the players and staff would have liked all three points on this occasion.
