Following the news that Birmingham City have parted company with Harry Redknapp, the club have confirmed that Lee Carsley will step in as Caretaker Manager.
Carsley is currently Blues Head Professional Development Coach but he will take the reigns of the club he enjoyed a successfully spell with between 2008-2010.
He was part of Alex McLeish’s side that gained automatic promotion to the Premier League in the 2008-09 season.
