Birmingham City have secured a last minute deal for Teemu Taino from Premier League rivals Sunderland.
The 29-year-old Finnish international has arrived on a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.
Tainio joined the Black Cats from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2008 and has made 23 appearances for the club.
Tainio is currently away with the Finland squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Azerbaijan on Saturday and Liechtenstein next Wednesday.
