The Birmingham Mail have revealed that Blues have opened talks with Spurs over defender Calum Davenport.
The £1.5 million rated defender is looking towards a move in order to revive his career following limited opportunities at Spurs – however the paper rubbish reports that the transfer to Blues will be imminent.
Other clubs are also expressing an interest in the 23 year old including Celtic, Charlton Athletic and Reading. Wolves are also linked as they have the Lescott money burning a hole in their nice stadium.
