Birmingham City have missed out on a money spinning 4th round FA Cup tie against Spurs after going down 2-1 at home to Leeds last night.

Leeds came from behind to seal the victory in this third round replay, now Blues just have what might have been etched into their imaginations.

Just like when the two sides met at Elland Road 10 days ago, Wade Elliott put City in front and looking like they could actually win this one.

But Leeds somehow came up with an equaliser in the second half with McCormack netting his first goal since September and that was the turning point for the visitors.

They took the lead from the penalty spot through El-Hadji Diouf, who made no mistake after Paul Robinson had been pulled for handball.

It means Leeds will now host Spurs in the fourth round of the competition in a televised clash next Sunday.
