Birmingham City left it very late but everything worked out well in the end after a 2-2 draw at the Reebok prove to be enough to stay in the Championship.

Lee Clark’s side needed to get at least a point and hope other results went their way, but things didn’t look good after Lee-Chung-yong fired the home side in front.

Lukas Jutkiewicz doubled Bolton’s lead, but straight away Blues hit back through Nikola Zigic.

Then in stoppage time Paul Caddis hit an equaliser for Birmingham that sent the traveling army of Blues fans wild with jubilation.

And that’s the way the score stayed, but it was enough as Doncaster lost at Leicester so they went down instead.

More to follow, I’m on the beer….
