Che Adams could be on his way to St Andrews after Blues finally agreed a fee with Sheffield United.
The 20 year-old has been the subject of two previous bids which were both turned down. The second offer was thought to be in the region of £1.7m but included add-ons which wasn’t deemed acceptable by the Bramall Lane club.
But Blues seem to have achieved a breakthrough, reportedly offering a figure north of £1.5m up front.
Sheffield United are now willing to let the player speak to Blues to discuss personal terms before undergoing a medical.
