Birmingham City were given the LG Performance of the Week award for their 6-1 win over Reading last weekend.
No one was quite expecting such a scoreline against a team that was of a similar standing in the Championship. Arguably making the performance all the more impressive.
Birmingham have been playing very well since Gary Rowett and his team arrived and he was even nominated up for manager of the month during this term.
After a blip against Blackpool, there are few signs of Blues letting up as we are still watching on to see just how far they are able to go at the moment.
Rowett has installed a confident and positive atmosphere at the club that has seen him get far more out of the players than we were seeing before.
Birmingham continued their climb up the table this weekend with a 1-0 win away at Huddersfield.
