There are reports in the Turkish press that say the race to sign Rangers’ striker Kenny Miller looks to be over and Birmingham City have to admit defeat.

News has been breaking that the player has opted to sign for Turkish side Bursaspor.

Miller has agreed contract terms with Bursaspor in principle, according to reports in the Turkish press. It was only yesterday that Blues gave up on trying to sign Robbie Keane from Tottenham as they could not agree personal terms with the Republic of Ireland captain.

It is claimed in Turkey that Miller would earn nearly £50,000 a week if he switched to Bursaspor, almost double the reported terms offered to him to move to Birmignham.

And now the hopes of signing Miller look to be scuppered.
