Birmingham City target Ferland Mendy has today joined Ligue 1 side Lyon on a five-year deal from Le Havre.
The 22-year-old defender was rumoured to be catching the eye of Blues boss Harry Redknapp.
The likes of Crystal Palace, West Brom and Brighton also expressed an interest but the French side have won the race for his signature.
