Well, let the speculation begin.
With the news coming out on Monday that Pep Clotet is to leave his position as head coach at the end of the campaign, so that he can pursue other opportunities in coaching, speculation is now rife over who is going to be the new man in the dugout.
Although in one case, it might not necessarily be a new man.
One of the names being mentioned as a potential candidate is former Blues boss Chris Hughton. The 61-year-old was in charge of the Blues during the 2011/12 campaign, guiding us to the playoffs before losing out to Blackpool.
And although he said in an interview last year that he wants to get back into management at the highest possible level he can, something that BirminghamLive pointed out could be a problem, it’s always possible that he has lowered his standards, and that’s why his name is being talked about by the fans.
Although it seems as if not all Blues fans would be happy to see him back, despite his relative success during his one season at the club.
Would Love him back.Only left because he could see the problems coming down the track.Cant imagine he would want to work for our Board though

Exactly what we need, proven record will get us playing how the board wants but the board will be the stumbling block on this one unfortunately….let’s see their ambition!! Next appointment will be crucial on and off the field.

Definitely! I was disappointed when he left. He knows how to get out of the Championship so why not? #KRO https://t.co/mqs8VawZKW

What about you? Would you welcome Hughton back to the club?
