“Would love him back”, “no ta”- Some Blues fans split over the idea of bringing back former boss

|

Well, let the speculation begin.

With the news coming out on Monday that Pep Clotet is to leave his position as head coach at the end of the campaign, so that he can pursue other opportunities in coaching, speculation is now rife over who is going to be the new man in the dugout.

Although in one case, it might not necessarily be a new man.

One of the names being mentioned as a potential candidate is former Blues boss Chris Hughton. The 61-year-old was in charge of the Blues during the 2011/12 campaign, guiding us to the playoffs before losing out to Blackpool.

And although he said in an interview last year that he wants to get back into management at the highest possible level he can, something that BirminghamLive pointed out could be a problem, it’s always possible that he has lowered his standards, and that’s why his name is being talked about by the fans.

Should the Blues be looking to reappoint a former boss this summer?

Yes

No

Although it seems as if not all Blues fans would be happy to see him back, despite his relative success during his one season at the club.

What about you? Would you welcome Hughton back to the club?
