At least you can’t accuse Birmingham fans of not preparing.
Even though things have only started going disastrously wrong (depending on who you speak to) in recent weeks it seems a lot of Birmingham City fans have already started work on Plan B.
Even though he is only a couple of months into his tenure at St Andrew’s, Pep Clotet isn’t exactly flavour of the month amongst all of the supporters, with some already calling for him to be sacked.
Now whilst it’s OK to call for a manager to be sacked, it’s good to know what your options are for when that day does come. After all, you don’t want to be in the position Fulham were in back in 2015/16 where they waited over 50 days to appoint a new manager after the sacked Kit Symons.
Now here’s where Plan B comes into it, because the man that Blues fans want in charge, is the man Clotet replaced, Garry Monk. When the former boss posted a message on Twitter last night after his appearance on BBC’s 5 Live Sport last night, his responses were flooded with fans who were practically begging him to return to B9.
